Absolute; the directory this source is anchored at — where its schema lives. A parser resolves the source's own toolchain dependencies (@prisma/internals and equivalents) from here, letting Node walk up node_modules to cwd and beyond. Absent (⇒ treat as cwd) when the parser declares no anchor hook.
